Ski Slopes and outdoor ice skating rink will be open from 1 - 10 pm on Christmas Day. Cafeteria-style traditional Christmas dinner at the lodge restaurant. 

BEECH MOUNTAIN RESORT

Ski slopes, snow tubing park, and dining will be open from 9 to 5 pm on Christmas Eve, and  1 - 10 pm on Christmas Day.

Festival of Lights at Chetola Resort

Free, open to the public daily. Take a stroll around Chetola Lake and enjoy the glittering light display.

The Middle Fork Greenway at Mystery Hill

Walk along the Middle Fork of the New River on a paved greenway, lit up with glittering lights for Crazy Christmas at Mystery Hill each night. The light display is free and open to the public daily. 

Downtown Blowing Rock

Stroll along the sidewalks in downtown Blowing Rock and enjoy beautiful light displays at Memorial Park and in the shop windows.*

Downtown Boone

Enjoy the snowflake street lights, the Solar Tree at the Jones House, and window displays at various shops, galleries, and attractions.

Pro Tip: Metered & Kiosk parking in downtown Boone is free after 5 pm daily and all day on Sundays.

Tweetsie Christmas

Enjoy a 20-minute decorated train ride through fantastic light displays, go on kid-friendly amusement park rides, watch live shows, and try tasty holiday treats. Tickets are required. Open select evenings through December 30th. Closed Christmas Eve and Day.
